Потому известный поэт и публицист Александр Бобров руководствовался двумя главными критериями отбора: поэтический гений места, как любил повторять мыслитель Тютчев, и достоверность описания тех пенатов, где автор побывал лично, о чём писал в периодике и рассказывал по ТВ. Книга " Литературные усадьбы России" состоит из трёх разделов: "Здесь окликают великие" - о самых посещаемых местах, связанных с классиками русской литературы; "Поэты Серебряного века" - здесь автор идёт по следам поэтов самого излюбленного читателями периода русской литературы; наконец, третий раздел "Они были современниками" говорит о памятных местах, связанных с судьбами наиболее известных литераторов нашего времени.

The number of literary places, ancestral nests and estates, where great Russian poets and writers lived and created, defies calculus. The book "Literary Manors of Russia" consists of three sections: "Here hail the greats" - about the most visited places associated with the classics of Russian literature; "Poets of the Silver Age" - here the author follows in the footsteps of poets of the most beloved period of Russian literature; finally, the third section "They were contemporaries" speaks of memorable places related to the fate of the most famous writers of our time.
