Маршал Советского Союза Климент Ефремович Ворошилов оставил неоднозначный след в истории нашей страны. Это, несомненно, сложная, незаурядная и в то же время противоречивая личность. О Ворошилове до сих пор судят по-разному: одни называют его верным другом Сталина, первым красным офицером, борцом за укрепление РККА, полководцем из народа; другие - сталинским "холуем", оруженосцем грозного "отца народов", палачом Красной армии, бездарным военачальником, хитрым приспособленцем, ведь при всех правителях Советского Союза - Сталине, Хрущеве, Брежневе - Ворошилов был в почете.

The author of the book, the writer Nikolai Velikanov, tries to find an explanation for the phenomenon of the first Marshal of the Soviet Union.
